Looking at the differences in our lifestyles over the last thirty years or so, there has been a dramatic change. Ready meals are a popular choice for many, due to the busy lifestyles some lead. Many people choose the easier option to exercise, which nowadays is to sit and watch T.V all evening. This leading to negative changes in health. This is leading to an increase risk in health problems. This article will look at the causes of Alzheimer's and the stages of its development.

Alzheimer's Stages

One to three of the Alzheimer's stages can be difficult to identify, as the signs can happen to us all. This is often the case as people just assume these are signs of old age. The cognitive ability is slightly affected in the first two stages. Misplacing your personal belongings and forgetting where you placed them, can be a sign which often occurs in the first two stages. We have all done it some time or another. This is why the symptoms can so easily be confused with old age. Stage three of Alzheimer's is a little more noticeable for some, as concentration lacks and memory loss happens more frequently. Concentration may lack in simple or daily tasks and names may be forgotten of those just met. Stages two and three even if not noticed by the person suffering from the illness, can be noticed by others a lot easier than stage one, this mainly due to the signs happening on a more frequent basis.

Stage four is usually one of the hardest stages for the person suffering with Alzheimer's, due to the amount of confusion that the person may be suffering with. Thinking exercises which are usually simple, can become very hard. Performance at work may start to decline. Early onset Alzheimer's is often diagnosable at this stage. Other signs such as difficulty remembering recent events will be visible. Stage five is more severe in terms of memory loss with events and short term memory becoming highly affected. A Big physical and emotional change in the person can be identified, such as the ability to reason with others.

The last two stages take over and the person cannot carry out daily tasks without help. Stages six and seven show massive changes in personality. It can be very distressing for people to see a loved one go through this, as memory deteriorates and they can't remember much about themselves. Assistance and care is needed to help the person with dressing, movement, cooking and other daily routine tasks. Over time muscle function and speech starts to deteriorate, which means constant care is vital. Stage seven is very difficult to cope with as loved one are forgotten and the sufferer cannot recognize those who are close.

Waterless Bathing

Waterless bathing products provide an easy bathing option for the elderly and those requiring care. Alzheimer's patients can also benefit, as waterless shampoo and body wash products don't require water, making cleaning easier. All that is required is to apply the formula then simply towel dry. Life can be a lot easier with these products, as limited movement is required, with less of a struggle. The daily task of cleaning can be made easier for those who struggle with illnesses causing memory loss. This can be used as an alternative, so bathing is not required in a daily basis.

Preventative Measures

Our lifestyles have changes in the last thirty years, taking a turn for the worst. Lifestyle has a massive impact on our health and the illnesses that may derive in the future. Exercise should be a high priority in out lives. Many people would rather sit down and watch the T.V, instead of taking a walk to the park, or participating in regular exercise activity. Our health is negatively affected by this. Ready meals are very popular in supermarkets and they are an easy option when it comes to cooking. This means people are not taking in the vitamins and nutrients needed in the body. Vitamin B plays a large part in helping our brains and reducing our brains from shrinking. The brain has a massive part to play in our lives and protecting it is important. Omega 3 and Folic acid are also important in brain development and without these natural nutritional supplements, our bodies are at a high risk of Alzheimer's. Chemical are not good for the body and exposure to them, can cause problems in later life. The more your body is exposed to chemicals the more they start to build up in the body. These chemicals will build up and turn our bodies into our enemies.
